Texas State University’s Department of World Languages and Literatures is developing a pool of temporary, nontenured lecturers to teach world language courses, including French, based on departmental needs and student demand. Candidates must have at least a master’s degree with relevant graduate coursework, with preference for those holding a Ph.D. and prior teaching experience; proficiency in French is required for teaching the language. Appointments may be full or part-time, on the San Marcos or Round Rock campuses, or online, with reappointment contingent on performance and funding.
